Winemaker Johnathan Ketley has produced a well-made commercial Chardonnay. Bright pale straw colour. Aroma of cashew, hazelnut, yeast lees and figs. The palate reflects some barrel ferment character with yeast lees evident over a layer of grapefruit and melon. Crisp acidity with a hint of toasted oak, butterscotch and yeast lees.
Cellar 2-3 years (2004-2005).
