Beautiful colour. Very deep mauve purple. Aroma of cherry, raspberry and spice, followed by a hint of game, showing good varietal character. The palate displays moderate length, with cherry and spice flavours evident, followed by a hint of liquorice. Fine grained, dry balanced tannins, followed by an evolving cherry, spice aftertaste.
