A simple, well made, soft, easy drinking red. Bright, deep crimson colour with mauve hue. The nose shows good Pinot varietal character. Notes of stewed plum emerge followed by hints of earth, spice and stewed cherry. On the palate, flavours of stewed fruit, leather and confectionary. Fine grained tannins followed by an aftertaste of stewed plum and spice.
