This wine does not seem to have developed the expected degree of complexity for an aged Semillon. Deep straw- pale gold colour, showing bottle development. Aroma of tropical fruit, followed by a hint of hay and confectionary. The palate is loosing its freshness but not gaining much in the way of complexity, and with the acidity now falling away, the likelihood of new flavours emerging seems diminished. Subdued aftertaste of honeysuckle, hay and citrus.
