2001 Shaw & Smith Unoaked Chardonnay

Bright pale straw colour. Fresh, lifted nose of spice, melon and tropical fruit. On the palate, flavours of lemon and grapefruit, followed by a layer of tropical fruit. Moderate length. Crisp acid finish, showing the influence of the cool climate of Adelaide Hills, followed by an aftertaste of citrus and tropical fruit.
