A superb example of Marlborough Chardonnay having been matured for ten months in new French oak casks. Bright deep straw colour showing some oxidative handling. Aroma of melon and figs followed by notes of hazelnut, cashew and yeast lees. The palate has a wonderful creamy texture with strong flavours of yeast lees, biscuit, cashew and toasted oak with just a hint of citrus appearing on the back palate. Perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of yeast lees and hazelnut.
