2001 Saltram Barossa Shiraz

Almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Very appealing perfumed nose, filled with notes of spice, vanilla and plum. On the palate, plum and stewed fruit flavours, followed by a very distinctive blackpepper back palate. Good length, excellent balance, followed by an aftertaste of liquorice and blackpepper.
