Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose is appealing with aroma of violets, spicy plum and stewed fruit followed by a blackcurrant end note. On the palate, flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry and dark chocolate appear. There is a slight hollow on the back palate but this will fill out with time. Fine grained tannins, dry, followed by a blackcurrant aftertaste.
