Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose displays lifted notes of spice, blackcurrant and fresh liquorice strap followed by a violet end note. The palate displays excellent length and is quite elegant in its structure. Flavours of coffee, blackcurrant and spice emerge over a layer of fine tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and liquorice emerge with some pencil shaving characteristics manifesting.
