A big Coonawarra Cabernet. Opaque black crimson colour. The nose is lifted, with notes of vanilla, spice and blackcurrant evident, showing an abundance of ripe Cabernet character. Nuances of smoky oak due to the use of a combination of American, Seguin Moreau and Russian oak. There is plenty of palate weight. The tannins are tight, but balanced. Very long aftertaste of chocolate, vanilla and blackcurrant over a persistent warm spicy background.
