A very well made wine. Very deep crimson colour with mauve purple hue. The nose is delightful, with aroma of confectionary, spice, blackpepper and plum. The palate has plenty of weight and depth, with flavours of stewed plum, spice, liquorice and black pepper over a vanilla oak background. Fine grained tannins. Perfect balance, followed by a long aftertaste of spice and plum.
