An unwooded Chardonnay made by Rosalind Ritchie of Delatite. Very pale straw colour with delicate green hue. Lifted aromatic nose, fresh aroma of melon, tropical fruit and peach. The palate has good body weight, with flavours of ripe pear and tropical fruit emerging. There is some coarseness on the back palate but it is acceptable. A touch of mango flavour emerges, followed by crisp acid finish and a peach, pear aftertaste.
