2001 Michael Unwin Wines Tatooed Lady Shiraz

Total production of this wine was 70 dozen – which certainly makes it very collectable. Very deep black crimson colour with deep crimson black hue. The nose displays a refined lift with a top of vanilla, followed by violets. The palate has supreme weight, with excellent depth and length. Flavours of vanilla and plum emerge, followed by spice and blackberry, with a hint of confectionary and liquorice allsorts. Fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins. Aftertaste of confectionary and liquorice allsorts.
