2001 McGuigan Genus 4 Old Vine Shiraz

A generous full bodied soft red. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of stewed plum, followed by a hint of earth, truffle, old leather, spice and prune. The palate has good weight with flavours of ripe plum, chocolate and spice emerging over a touch of earth. Soft tannins, excellent balance with long aftertaste of plum, spice, chocolate and earth.
