A very welcome back to form, with a wine that can easily be described as a ‘photocopy’ of a classed growth Bordeaux. The wine consists of a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 6% Merlot. Very deep crimson colour with mauve hue. Medium body. Classic Bordeaux nose, filled with aroma of cedar, cigar box, violets and blackcurrant. The palate reflects the nose, with again strong Bordeaux like characteristics. Flavours of cedar, cigar box, blackcurrant, spice and cedar fill the palate, dry, but elegant with very long aftertaste.
