Grape Varieties: 100% Merlot
Region: Near the town of Portocannone in the region of Molise on the east coast of Italy.
Vinification: Grapes are picked at optimum maturity in September. After a soft press, fermentation takes place on the skins in a stainless steel tank, during which time the skins are stirred. After fermentation is complete the wine remains in stainless steel for approximately six months before bottling.
