A very impressive red at a very affordable price. The wine has been matured for 12 months in new and one year old French oak. Very deep almost opaque black purple colour. The nose is impressive, with distinct aroma of ripe plum, spice, cedar and fresh liquorice. The palate flavours are very peppery with an abundance of liquorice plum flavour. Soft tannin structure followed by a long blackpepper and whitepepper aftertaste.
