This is a new ‘icon’ that Jamiesons Run is seeking to launch onto the market. The wine has been fermented in small rota fermenters and matured for 24 months in French and American oak.
Totally opaque black purple colour with purple hue. Aroma of mocha, spice, liquorice, vanilla, cedar and blackcurrant. The palate reveals flavours of stewed fruit, blackcurrant and dark chocolate. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, stewed fruit, mocha and liquorice, with dry chalky tannins persisting.
