A well made, commercial Chardonnay in the riper fruit end of the flavour spectrum.Brilliant, pale gold colour. Aroma of peach, melon and figs, over a background of subtle lees, spice, toasted oak and tropical fruit, with a touch of butterscotch emerging. On the palate, ripe fruit flavours dominate – ripe melons, figs and tropical fruit with butterscotch re-emerging. Soft acid finish. Cellar 1 – 2 years. (2002 – 2003)
