This wine is produced from mature, high density vines and matured for 18months in new French hogsheads. The colour is showing considerable development - brick red with brick red hue. The nose is lifted, with notes of mulberry, spice, blackcurrant and cedar, followed by a hint of violet. On the palate, flavours of spice, cedar and just a hint of violet. The palate displays good length, with flavours of spice, cedar, mulberry and liquorice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spice, mulberry and cedar.
