Very deep crimson mauve colour with deep mauve hue. The nose has a spicy plum note followed by a hint of liquorice, blackcurrant and cedar. The palate length is impressive with flavours of plum and white pepper emerging which are quite persistent. Fine dryish tannins followed by a long white pepper aftertaste. A relatively tight wine that will evolve very well over the next few years.
