The blend for this wine is compiled of 72% Shiraz, 20% Cabernet and 8% Merlot. Bright, crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Medium body, perfumed nose of violet, spice, cedar, confectionary and mulberry. The structure of the wine displays typical Henschke elegance, with a rare sense of refinement. We have a wine that has great flavour, yet does not have the palate weight of a very heavy wine. Velvet smooth tannins make this wine eminently drinkable now. Very long aftertaste of whole pepper spice and stewed fruit.
