A very big, very ripe Cabernet. Opaque black purple colour. The nose exudes largess, with distinct tarry blackcurrant notes followed by spice, violet and marzipan notes. The palate reflects the weight and ripeness that is evident on the nose. Flavours of ripe plum, dark chocolate with liquorice, spice and aniseed emerging over a tarry back palate. Fine, dry firmish tannin structure followed by a very long confectionary blackcurrant and dark chocolate aftertaste.
