Brilliant crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Perfumed nose of spice, raspberry over blackpepper and liquorice – an excellent sniff. Mouthfilling palate with liquorice, raspberry and blackpepper flavours. Excellent length and depth although the body weight is not present. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance, followed by a very long raspberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
