Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. The nose is quite spicy with notes of ink, black pepper and blackcurrant evident followed by nuances of leather and violets as end notes. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel with flavours of chocolate and spice evident over a blackcurrant background. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, spice and blackcurrant.
