Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue – the colour is holding up very well. There is a very faint hint of tea leaf, followed by blackcurrant, cedar and cigar box, delivering a classic Cabernet sniff. The palate is well structured, slightly tight and slowly opening. Flavours of cedar, cigar box and spice, followed by a blackcurrant back palate. Fine slightly dry, chalky tannins. Aftertaste of cigar box, spice and blackcurrant.
