The colour is fantastic, the palate is very ordinary. What happened? Most likely a big crop or very young vines pushed too hard. Opaque crimson purple colour with black heart and purple hue. The nose is impressive with aroma of mulberry juice and spice, followed by a hint of anise. The palate is extremely light lacking any sense of depth. The tannins are very dry and finally subside a little to allow spice and raspberry flavours to emerge.
