Grape Variety: 100% verdicchio
Region: Selected from the best vineyards situated within the DOC zone of Castello di Jesi in the eastern region of Marche on the Adriatic coast.
Vinification: The grapes are hand harvested into small boxes going through a careful selection process to attain the best grapes before pressing. It remains on yeast in tanks until the following spring before the solids are removed and the wine is bottled.
Characteristics: The wine is straw yellow in colour with green reflexes. The characteristic is typically floral and grassy that harmonises well with the decidedly fresh structure. It has a lively palate consisting of traces of fruit, of yellow plums and of mature citrus, finishing clean and persistent.
Serve: between 12-16°C
Try with: seafood, vegetable terrines, fresh salads and roast chicken.
