We expected the spectacular but only got very good!
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue, showing signs of early development. The nose is impressive, with top note of cedar, blackcurrant, spice and violets. On the palate the cedar, smoky oak, blackcurrant, spice and confectionary flavours give the wine a good Cabernet flavour profile. Fine grained dry tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, spice and cedar.
