Philippe de Benoist is the brother-in-law of Aubert de Villaine, co-owner of Domaine de la Romanee Conti. The imposing Chateau dates back as far is the 13th Century, although the majority the building was constructed in the 17th Century. The wines are very impressive.

Bright straw colour. The nose displays grassy herbaceous notes, followed by hints of capsicum, green apple, confectionary and gooseberry. Mouthfilling palate flavours, with classic dry Sauvignon Blanc flavours persisting. The grassy herbaceous characteristics are enhanced by nuances of confectionary and musk on the back palate. Excellent length and depth. Crisp acid finish, followed by a grassy, herbaceous aftertaste.
