An outstanding example of Dog Ridge Shiraz made by Wayne Dutschke. Opaque crimson colour with crimson hue. The nose displays excellent notes of spice and plum, followed by a hint of leather and liquorice. The palate has excellent weight with flavours of plum, spice, liquorice and mocca emerging. Excellent length, fine grained tannins, perfectly balanced. Very long aftertaste of mocca, dark chocolate, spice and blackpepper.
