An austere Chablis like Chardonnay. Bright pale straw colour. Excellent lifted nose of fig and melon, followed by a hint of hazelnut. The palate displays weight and depth of flavour over an austere, yet balanced backbone. Flavours of yeast lees, flor and confectionary, followed by light back palate flavours of cashew and hazelnut, with a hint of citrus. Long aftertaste of flor and yeast lees.
