This wine is composed of a blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Alicante Bouchet. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lifted nose with confectionary and cherry top notes followed by spice with a hint of violet and leather. The palate is dry and held together with fine, chalky tannins – demanding a plate of Mediterranean food. Flavours of cherry and spice are overlaid with a hint of confectionary. The fine dry tannins linger long into the aftertaste.
