Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of violets, spice, blackcurrant, mint, dark chocolate and tea leaf. The tea leaf character re-emerges on the palate but remains subdued. Flavours of spice, raspberry and mulberry follow. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry and spice.
