This is a high acid style of Semillon with only 10.9% Alc/Vol and needs time to develop its tertiary toasted honey characteristics before it become approachable. Brilliant pale straw colour, with green hue. Subtle nose, with hints of tropical fruit over confectionery and spice. On the palate, distinct grassy herbaceous flavours appear over an unripe pineapple background. Very crisp acid finish, followed by a long confectionery and unripe pineapple aftertaste. Cellar 3 - 4 years. (2004 - 2005)
