2001 Bleasdale Bremerview Shiraz

Bleasdale have over-delivered again. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose is impressive, showing excellent lift, with notes of plum, spice, dark chocolate, vanilla and cherry. The palate structure is such that the wine is imminently drinkable now, although medium term cellaring is still worthwhile. Flavours of spicy plum, chocolate and vanilla. Excellent length and depth. Velvet smooth tannins followed by a long spice, vanilla and plum aftertaste.
