This wine is showing very distinctive regional character which you’ll either love or hate, but none the less is worth tasting. Opaque black crimson colour. The nose displays notes of mint and confectionary with a hint of violet and truffle. On the palate there is an unusual flavour twist with eucalyptus and mint emerging with dark chocolate, liquorice bar and aniseed. Fine grained soft tannins, excellent balance, followed by a long chocolate, mint, spice and aniseed aftertaste.
