2001 Barossa Valley Estate Moculta Chardonnay

This wine is a full bodied, tricked up, slightly oxidised Chardonnay. Bright pale gold colour showing oxidative handling of juice. Aroma of cashew, honey and melon followed by spice and subtle butterscotch end note. Full bodied palate, creamy texture with strong spicy oak flavour dominant over a background of peach, tropical fruit, butterscotch and spice. Soft acid finish with oaky spice aftertaste.
