This wine has been made from fruit grown in McLaren Vale and Currency Creek. Medium body crimson colour with mauve hue. The nose is impressive with notes of spice, raspberry, liquorice and cherries showing distinct varietal character. On the palate, flavours of liquorice, spice, raspberry and cherries. Fine grained, firmish tannins, with some smoky oak back palate flavours. The tannins linger into the aftertaste with some sour cherry characteristics emerging.
Cellar 2-3 years (2004-2005).
