A small portion of viognier has been added to this blend. Outstanding colour. Opaque, black purple with deep purple hue. Delightful nose of vanilla, spice top notes followed by earth, liquorice and blackberry. The palate is full bodied, with flavours of vanilla, dark plum, over-laced by a smoky oak background. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, followed by a long aftertaste of smoky oak, plum, spice and vanilla.
