The fruit for this very impressive Shiraz was grown on the Lone Star Vineyard and cropped at a tine 1 ½ tonnes per acre. Very deep, almost opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose is impressive with top notes of violets followed by spice, raspberry and black cherry. Mouthfilling palate, delivering a sense of elegance with flavours of raspberry, blackberry, cedar and spice emerging overlaid with liquorice allsorts. Fine grained, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice allsorts, raspberry and spice.
