2000 Penfolds Rawson's Retreat Semillon Chardonnay

A well made commercial wine. Brilliant pale straw colour with a delicate green hue. The nose displays delicate grassy, herbal notes over a subtle tropical fruit background. On the palate the tropical fruit flavours are dominant over a grassy, spice, herbaceous background. Warm spicy aftertaste. Cellar 1 – 2 years.
