This wine is a by-product of the Yattarna project which was created as Grange’s companion wine. The 2000 Chardonnay is the sixth release. Bright pale gold colour. The nose is impressive, with distinct and complex notes of honeycomb, cashew and biscuit emerging. Excellent layers of complexity. The palate is perfectly integrated, with flavours of hazelnut, cashew, almond, toasted oak, yeast lees and biscuit emerging. Complex and refined. Very long aftertaste of toasted oak, almonds, hazelnut and cashew.
