2000 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon (1500ml)
The colour of this wine is advancing. Crimson brick red colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. The nose is very appealing with aroma of violets, hints of cigar box and cedar followed by blackcurrant end notes. A sophisticated sniff, showing some tertiary aroma. The palate, however, remains tight knit, with flavour of cedar, spice and white pepper emerging. Fine dry tannins but the overall impression is that the wine lacks depth.
Cellar 3-4 years (2007-2008)

The deep ruby/purple-colored 2000 Shiraz Art Series reveals elegant, sweet flavors of black cherries intertwined with pepper, licorice, and smoke. Medium to full-bodied, layered, and pure, it should drink well for 7-10 years.
