2000 Best's Great Western Pinot Noir

A well made wine, without prominent Pinot character. Medium body, brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of coffee, stewed plum and spice with a touch of toasted oak emerging, followed by a subtle strawberry jam end note. The palate remains relatively tight with flavours of stewed plum and spice emerging. Moderate length. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum and spice.
