1999 Yarra Vale Chardonnay
Domenic Bucci has a small vineyard of 5 acres in the Yarra Valley, planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Bright, pale straw colour. Lifted nose, with aroma of spice and butterscotch followed by hints of cinnamon and spicy oak. On the palate, flavours of peach and melon with nut and yeast lees in the background. A good example of a fruit driven style. Soft acidity, followed by an aftertaste of yeast lees, melon, peach and spice. Cellar 2-3 years.
