A well made, though predictable wine. Wine maker Sue Hodder should become a little more adventurous with this style and produce a wine of greater complexity - she can do it with the reds! Bright straw colour. Aromas of biscuits, nut, peach, butterscotch and yeast lees - all anticipated, and characteristic of barrel fermentation. On the palate, flavours of grapefruit, butterscotch, peach and toasted oak dominate followed by a soft acid finish. Nut and butterscotch aftertaste. Cellar 2 - 3 years.
