A very refined style. Opaque crimson colour, with vibrant purple edges, and black centre. Delightful wine, perfumed, with aromas of violets, vanilla, blackberry and a hint of liquorice. The palate has weight with intense flavours of spice and black pepper flavours over a background of ripe plums. Fine grained velvet smooth tannins followed by very long black pepper aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
