These Semillon vines were planted in 1908 on the Hunter Valley Distillery Vineyard (HVD). Deep gold, green colour with golden straw hue showing it’s bottle age. Aroma of honey and toast followed by a hint of dry hay and confectionary showing classic aged Semillon character. On the palate, flavours of confectionary, honey, hay and lemon are evident and perfectly integrated. The acidity is perfect, with excellent balance. Very long aftertaste of confectionary, lemon and honey.
