A very impressive TR16. Totally opaque, black crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. Distinct varietal nose, with aroma of spice, mocha, dark chocolate and liquorice. Mouthfilling palate with flavours of blackpepper, plum and spice over a strong layer of mocha and vanilla. Fine, firmish tannins, excellent balance, followed by a long vanilla, spice, liquorice and plum aftertaste. Cellar 3 – 4 years. (2004 – 2005)
